Experimental Study on Configuration and Spacing of Screw Pile Group Effect Subjected to Lateral Cyclic Loading

چکیده

Despite the great development in manufacture of helical pile and their use, especially transmission towers wind turbines, there is little research on lateral behavior. In this laboratory study investigate behavior screw piles group (2×1) (1×2) with spacing to diameter helix ratio (S/Dh =1.5, 3, 4.5) having a (10 mm) embedded length (L/D = 40) by using single double soft clay extend stiff under cyclic load frequency (0.2 Hz). The results showed that increasing distance between had effect resistance. increase groups from (1.5 Dh) (3 4.5 increases resistance about 34-38% 50% respectively. Also, result gave more than 11% for 6% helix, same configuration gives an 5-10 % helix.
